Driver's License                
A full license held for minimum of 2 years with no major endorsements. UK license holders need to present a photo card.                
If your license is not in Roman or Cyrillic alphabet (i.e. Arabic, Greek or Chinese) you need to bring an international driver's license and your domestic license.                 
In the event that a customer arrives at the rental desk without the necessary documentation as stated above, the booking will be cancelled. In these cases, there will be no refund.

Wheels and Glass: WG is extra optional insurance for damage to the Wheels and Glass of the rental vehicle. Prices shown in the table are on a daily basis and refers to rentals longer than 5 days. For rentals of 5 days or less, 25% higher prices apply. VAT included

Third Party Liability Protection (TP): VAT included                
You may be held responsible for damage to or loss of tyres, windscreens, glass and undercarriage. Please check with the car rental agent on arrival.                
If you purchase the Excess Reimbursement Insurance from a third party, the credit card holder will be required to present his/her credit card at the rental desk in order for the car rental agent to authorize the deposit.                
Third party intangible is 550.000 EUR and 300.000 EUR for material damage.                
Zero Excess Conditions and Requirements                
In the event of an accident or any damage to the vehicle, customers are required to obtain a police report and can also create a contractual report with the other vehicle's driver, prior to returning the vehicle to Green Motion Bulgaria/Montenegro.                
Failure to provide the required police report and documentation may result in the zero excess cover being invalidated.                
The following valid documents will be required:

-   Photographs of the accident, showing the vehicles involved                
Green Motion will offer assistance with the details and process for this upon arrival and will provide documentation and guidance on how to proceed in the event of damage to the vehicle.

Winterisation fee                
From 01st November until 31st March, we advise to book winter tire.                
Winter tire are not mandatory in areas of Green Motion locations, but highly recommended for your own safety and your passengers for driving in winter conditions.                
Also there are some parts of Montenegro where you will need winter equipment or in case that you go abroad. Please check with the pickup location for more details                

Breakdown Assistance

One-way fees                
One-way rentals are allowed, a fee will be chargeable (VAT Included). One way rentals need to be announced in advance. Contact your rental station for more information.

We operate a Like to Like Fuel policy; we ask that customers return with the same amount of fuel as was supplied at the time of collection.                 
Charge for missing fuel: 3 EUR per litre (includes tax) + 30 EUR VAT Included refuel service                
Your vehicle will be supplied with fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges you will need to return it approximately same level. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved on your credit card that will be released when you return the car with same amount of fuel. Missing fuel will be charged on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station.                
Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated in the top section of rate details.

Country / State Cross Border Travel                
It is forbidden to drive our vehicles to: Kosovo, Moldova, Turkey and Ukraine.                
The following countries are allowed: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece (Only mainland) Hungary, Ireland, Italy (Only mainland), Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.                
The surcharge is 40 EUR per country VAT Included                
Please note that if you intend to travel internationally or from one state to the other there may be restrictions applicable. Cross border charges will apply at the rental desk.

A deposit amount of excess will be held against your Credit card(s) for the period of the booking.                
Credit card(s) must be in the name of the main driver.                
Make sure you have a large enough limit to cover the excess.                
Drivers without a valid Credit card have the option to purchase a local comprehensive insurance package, that removes the required deposit on the Credit card. A representative at the rental desk will inform the client about all available options.                
In the event that a customer fails to present a valid credit card or there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, and the option to purchase local insurance is refused, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.                 

Form(s) of ID                
A valid photo ID (passport or national ID).                

Vehicle Group/Model                
Our vehicles are classified into groups using the ACRISS codes for clarity of booking. The group is indicated in the bottom right of the vehicle image and the description at the top left. The group will print on your reservation.                
Reservations are confirmed for a group and not a particular model unless shown otherwise. We are unable to guarantee a particular make/model or fuel type unless a guaranteed model group has been booked.                 
The vehicle shown on any documentation is for guidance only and may be substituted with an alternative, similar or upgraded vehicle at our discretion.                

Vehicle Condition                
Vehicles must be returned to the location/drop off point in the same condition as when it was picked up/delivered. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the vehicle is thoroughly checked prior to taking custody of the vehicle.                 
Whilst in charge of the vehicle the client accepts responsibility for maintaining the roadworthiness of the vehicle and agrees to take remedial action to avoid unnecessary cost/damage. This will include maintaining oil levels, tire pressures and other common sense actions to maintain the vehicle if before authorized. Costs will generally be covered only if it’s authorized in advance from the rental branch.                
Renter returns the vehicle in a clean condition (normal wear and tear excepted). If the vehicle is exceptionally dirty upon return or if there is damage to the seats, seat upholstery or the carpets an additional charge for deep cleaning will apply. This charge will be dependent upon the actual state of the vehicle when returned.                 
Any damage caused to the vehicle, if returned out of hours, is the responsibility of the hirer until our staffs have checked in the vehicle.                

A copy of your voucher must be produced upon arrival at the rental desk. Failure to present the voucher means the car rental agent may charge you at the local rates. Please note: We are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher was not presented to the local agent on collection of the vehicle. If you do not present the required documents, the documentation is not valid or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed

Smoking Policy                
Green Motion operate a no smoking policy for all vehicles.  If you have smoked or allowed smoking within the vehicle charges will apply.  This includes allowing cigarette (or cigar) smoke or ash into the vehicle, which would imply the above.  Charges are detailed in the damage matrix available at the rental counter. 100 EUR per rental VAT Included.                
Animals in our vehicles                
We request no animals are transported in our vehicle unless contained. A valeting fee may be applied to rectify any soiling due to animal transportation. Charges are detailed in the damage matrix available at the rental counter.                

Delayed Collections/ No show policy                
Reservations will be held for 1 hour from the specified reservation time after which they will be classed as a no-show.  If a customer arrives after this time then a vehicle is not assured.  We will do everything possible to provide a vehicle. This may include offering a different vehicle and rates may be different to the original booking.                
Flight numbers provided are for informational purposes only. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform the location of any delays.                

Rental Extensions                
Please note that it may not always be possible for the hiring branch to extend the hire. Where the branch agrees to extend the hire, the rental will be charged at the prevailing rate which may be higher or lower than the original booking rate.                 

Non-authorized rental extension                
Penalty above the rental charge and the driver will be black listed (declined for future bookings) Charges are detailed in the damage matrix available at the rental counter. 500 EUR per rental VAT Included.                

Early Returns/Unused Rental Days                
No refunds (partial or full) will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date.                

Late Returns                
A vehicle is hired for a contracted period as detailed on the rental agreement. The return day and time as selected by the customer at the time of booking will be enforced regardless of delayed pickup time. If the vehicle is returned outside the grace period, there will be a charge of an additional day or a late fee.                 
Grace period: 1 hour                

Lost Keys                
Green Motion will charge if keys are lost or damaged. Please note that if a vehicle is stolen and keys are not returned to the rental location, the hirer will be deemed negligent. Lost keys are deemed as negligence and are not covered under the insurance excess limitation or risk reduction packages. Drivers will be liable for all costs relating to recovery, loss of use and repair. This list is not exhaustive.                

Off-road driving                
For off-road driving, there is an additional penalty in the amount of €500 and this applies for any vehicle category.                

Fines, Penalties and Administration Charges                
It is the responsibility of each hirer to cover the cost of any parking fines and traffic violations. When fines or traffic violations occur and a Green Motion location is involved in administering the charge then an administration fee will be charged to the customer.                

Vehicle Trackers                
Some of our vehicles contain tracking devices which will be used in accordance with our data protection policy.                

?All complaints should be made in writing either through our Online Contact Form found on our Contact Us page or via email to within 30 days from the last day of your rental. Whilst we do try to resolve all cases brought to our attention, those raised after this period may not be considered. If at any point during the investigation process communication ceases for a period of more than 30 days, the case will be considered closed and no further action will be taken.

General Terms                
All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions.                
Green Motion Limited cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed for and accepted locally.                
Green Motion Limited will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The customer will accept responsibility in respect of such claims. This list is not exclusive.                
When comprehensive insurance is taken out it is to provide the customer with entitlement to drive and covers the vehicle in the event of an accident. In the case where a customer is found negligent Green Motion Limited and its locations reserve the right to pursue the customer for the recovery of all losses incurred.

The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
